This article explains how to convert miles to points or money in the application called Trima. To learn more about what Trima is, please read the following article.
Exchange miles for points in Torima
Miles earned can be exchanged via “dot money”, a point exchange service. At that time, a 20% conversion fee is required. For example, if you wish to exchange 10,000 miles, you will need 12,000 miles due to the 2000 mile fee.
1. First of all, If you have not yet logged in, log in first. To do so, tap the bottom right corner of the screen.
As you see, login is available using IDs such as Google, Facebook, or Apple.
If you do not use these, tap 「新規会員登録」”New Member Registration” just below the Google etc.
You type in your email address（メールアドレス） and password （パスワード）consisting of more than 8 letters. A confirmation code will be sent to your email address. You type in the code（コード）. Then you will be logged in.
Logging in: next time
To log in next time, press the same button on the bottom right. Tap 「メールアドレスでログイン」”Log in with email address” just below the Google login.
From there, first enter your e-mail address. Next, enter your password. Finally, enter the passcode that is sent to your email address. Then, login is complete.
2: After login, tap「交換」”Exchange”. The screen for exchanging points from other companies will appear.
Tap 「他社ポイント」（points of other companies）
Scroll down to see a list of point exchanges. Select the desired points. If you do not have enough miles in your account, you will not be able to tap .
For example, if you choose 「Amazonギフト券」”Amazon Gift card”, tap 「36000で交換」”Exchange for 36,000 miles” . If you do not have 36,000 miles you cannot tap.
Verify your phone number. You call the phone number shown on the screen from your own phone. A time limit has been set for this.
Tap 「交換申請へ進む」 “Proceed to Exchange Application”
Create a DotMoney account.
You see a page of the opening-account of DotMoney. As mentioned above, the exchange of miles to other company’s points will be done through Dot Money.
Check 「同意する」”I agree.
Tap 「トリマのIDで口座開設」”Open an account with Torima’s ID”
Enter “36,000” in the number of miles（交換マネー数） to be exchanged (in the case of the Amazon gift example).
Tap 「交換してSTEP2へ」 “Exchange and go to STEP 2” .
Tap 「「交換申請に進む」」 “Proceed to Exchange Application” button
Enter “300” in the number of points or money（交換マネー） to be exchanged. Tap the 「確認する」”Confirm” button. Tap the 「申請する」”Apply” button.
The message 「申請が完了しました」”Your application is complete.” appears. Your exchange procedure is now complete.
It may take more than 2 weeks to get points or money.
How to check your exchange history
Open the Torima’s other company points screen. Tap the 「交換履歴(ドットマネー)を開く」“Open DotMoney” button. Tap 「ドットマネーの交換履歴」“Dot Money Exchange History” at the bottom of the Dot Money Passbook screen.
On the exchange history page, you can check the status of your exchange request.
For Amazon gift certificates and iTunes gift codes, you will be able to retrieve the code on the exchange history page once your exchange request is complete.
